Christy Decker, VMD

Dr. Christy Decker grew up just over the bridge in Burlington, NJ. She currently lives in Bensalem, PA. She received her B.S. in Biology from Marymount University in 1994. Christy always knew that she wanted to
work with animals and graduated from University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001.

Dr. Decker’s special interests are surgery, internal medicine and preventive medicine. She loves to read books, listen to music, watch scary movies and detective/crime shows and spending time with her two beautiful daughters.

Dr. Decker has rejoined the amazing team at Pet’s Best Friend. She has previously practiced at Indian Walk Veterinary Center, VCA Knightswood Animal Hospital, VCA Old Marple Animal Hospital, Morrisville Veterinary Hospital and VCA Gwynedd Animal Hospital.

She shares her home with three cats, Liza and Splash are sisters that have a congenital abnormality (cerebellar hypoplasia), as well as Demon, a German Shepherd dog named Zoey and a yellow-tailed gecko named Perrywinkle.
