Dana Koch, VMD
Veterinarian
Dr. Dana Koch, originally from Langhorne, PA, has had a lifelong passion for animals. She earned her biology degree from LaSalle University, a master’s in laboratory animal medicine from Drexel University, and her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Dana’s professional interests include preventive care, dermatology, dentistry, and exotic pet medicine—particularly rabbits, guinea pigs, and rats. She has a special affinity for senior pets and is committed to enhancing their quality of life in their golden years. Her dedication to animal welfare extends globally—she has participated in nine international veterinary missions, focusing on high-volume spay and neuter procedures in underserved regions.
In 2018, Dr. Dana became certified in veterinary acupuncture through Chi University, offering her patients an alternative, integrative approach to care. Her commitment to continued learning led her to earn certification in animal rehabilitation in 2022, allowing her to help pets recover from surgery, manage chronic pain, and improve mobility through therapeutic techniques.
In her free time, she enjoys tennis, running, and spending time with her partner Stephen, their daughter Jocelyn, and their dogs Griff and Maggie. She is also the founder of Kitten Mittens and Wagging Tails, a nonprofit supporting animals in need.
